What is this?

When I go to settings > Applications > Running services, There is a bar at the bottom that seems to tell me how much memory is available. when it says 44mb in 3 avail: 23mb+75mb in 15 What does this mean?

Also the bar is red yellow and green. can someone explain this to me in laymans terms?

Thanks in advance.

Keeps saying "DROID"

I just got a droid tonight from my son and had it activated. I had it on all night, it was fine. Now , I brought it home and it is charging (still not fully charged) and every once in a while, it keeps saying "DROID". Why is it doing this? I don't have the manual so I cant' look it up....

Video player freezes

Has anyone has this issue before, also this has nothing to do with flash. But when i use the phones stock web video viewer to view videos on sites or through my jetflicks app it will freeze usually within a matter of seconds and then shortly thereafter will display unable to play video

droid 2 review

ok well as you know most of the same problems i had with the originall droid are on the droid 2 it still drops off wifi and bluetooth although in a different fashion, 3g coverage still sucks, as i write this the droid is blanking out every 5 seconds while trying to listen to my ed shultz podcast, i will say this the droid 2 is an improvement over the first(i would think if u start at the bottom you can only go up anyway) although i could not get dlna streaming to work, anyone wanna help with that one? sees computer cant access files does not see xbox at all.

rundown:

keyboard: i guess they're just running out of ideas with the keypad because it still sucks with that alt and alt lock mess.

camera: improved!! but not perfect.

sorry no review for droid 2

sorry to dissapoint everyone but i will not even be leaving a full review on the droid 2 as the phone is simply not worthy of a review, same problems persist, cant stream vids, podcasts still stop, phone is complete crap!! its mind boggeling to me that googles stock is going up when they make total garbage, especially when the competition out there is making flawless devices, anyway im glad i got it for free and will sell it privatley to some poor loser to defray some ofthe other losses ive incurred as a result of droid ownership

Extended Warranty Replacement

I have read on many other website that the Droid2 is being sent out as the replacement phone for the Droid. Has anyone had this happen for them?

BATTERY

Should you charge it every night? A friend of mine was told at a Verizon store to do so.

voyagerboy"s first reaction to DRRROID 2 !!!

had it for a few hrs now, somewhat impressed with some of the improvements, it dropped off wifi 2 times and i had to recoonect, and i enabled wifi lock, cant get droid 2 to get files off my laptop although it sees it through dlna media, it dosent see the xbox at all, to my surprise the camera is improved. dont wanna jump the gun on the wifi drop off the phone seems to be reacting better over, and the keyboard is definetly no more "intutive" then the the first, dont wanna jump the gun(11pm thurs saints up) but it seems better in areas, im just glad i got this thing for free, see it pays to be a jerk to verizon reps, ill have more to come so stay tuned!!!

e-mail issues . . .

I have the Droid since released last November and setup 4 e-mail accounts. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and a POP3 OWA type account which uses Outlook online to sync with our exchange server.

Everything always worked perfectly.

This past weekend I looked at my e-mail accounts on the Droid menu and the POP3 Outlook account was gone. I tried to create a new account and it never completes.

Last month I got the 2.2 upgrade and last week the second upgrade with Flash support.

I'm answering all the info properly during install but can't do . . . anybody know what gives?

Verizon tech support says they never heard of such a problem and wants to send me a new phone.

Online I'm seeing

flash player

I am still not sure about the Flash player. I downloaded it from a site I found on the web, and it seems ok. However, why do I see nothing about it in the Droid Market? Plus, I read that I need to Flash browser, what is that? Is this a mystery only to me?

I thought . . .

I thought . . . all Moto Droid users who received 2.2 last month should have received a second update by now allowing for the Flash upgrade capability. (Not sure what if anything else is included.)

Does anyone know anything about this second upgrade? When? What's included?

Manual Official Froyo 2.2 Update

I did the manual update. So far I like what I see. I tried flash - no go. I went to the Market to see if I had to download it - not there.

Am I missing something?

Ringtones - My apologizes is already answered

Is there a way to send rintones to this phone? I know that I can transfer them to my SD Card or download a pogram. On other phone, you could e-mail them to your phone.

MY APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE.

i know this might make some people angry but after months of complaining to verizon about how crappy the droid is and after threating to leave they gave me the droid 2 completley free, i did not receive the phone yet as they said they would be out of replacement droid 2's for the time being, but i should have the droid 2 soon enough and will leave a full report device after a few days of ownership, so look for it.

missing picture gone for good

Well here is a new one for me. I took a picture and it never showed up in my gallery so I rebooted like in the previous posts (several times) and even tried scanmedia app but still no picture. So I hooked up my USB and checked All my folders and files on the disk and not there, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. Usually I can at least see it on the computer even if the gallery on the phone hasn't caught up yet. That was a few days ago and I guess it is gone forever! Moto droid #1 2.2
