Battery Life Just isn't there

I got the T608 on Friday last week and have been using it since. Mostly just trying to figure out how to use it.

I went to work Monday and left it in my pocket. I used it a little bit and the battery died around 2:00pm. It only lasted 6.5 hours
Tuesday I didn't use it at all and it still died before I got out of work. I thought it had a standby time of several days?? How can I use it if it dies before I get out of an 8 hour work day??

Any thoughts??

CommuniCamâ„¢ MCA-25

Hey gang...got my T608 just before New Years eve.

Has anybody used the MCA-25 CommuniCam with this? Mine isn't displaying any picture in the phone viewfinder. NOt taking pictures, either. Anybody else got this part to work yet?

Also, any other Mac users have tips & tricks for syncing with iCal & Address Book? I thought it was working okay then got an error message saying I was unsuccessful.

Thanks in advance.

Does this phone work with iSync?

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna purchase this phone, but I need to know if it's compatible with Mac's iSync program... if not, I'll probably be going elsewhere. Anyone know?

3 Meg !! What The*******

I had spent $675 on a new Hitachi G1000 and signed up for the $150 unlimited Vision Plan so I could use it to access the internet to work with my bank, do research, etc. To have a Phone. Have Excel so I could Analyze properties. Etc.

It was a piece of ****. It neither made a decent PDA nor a decent Phone. Being strictly digital it dropped 60% of my calls. As far as Internet Access on my bank accounts...it seems Pocket PC 2002 does not have the encryption nor a current enough browser for my bank to allow me onto my accounts... security and all that. As far as the Pocket PC goes it was not upgradable and frankly gave me headaches holding it against my head and trying to drive.
😢

So I returned it and asked for ...

Manual

I was one of those who waited a long while for a Sprint Bluetooth phone; I ordered it Monday and received it Tuesday.

It seems to work well, but I'm very disappointed in the quality of the manual. There are supposed "features", like functioning as a speaker phone, which I can't figure out how to activate. Other standard features (like call waiting) have a preference that appears to need to activated, but there is no documentation as to how to enable.

I've searched both the Sprint and Sony Ericsson sites, and all they have is a PDF version of the printed manual.

Does anyone know where a full manual is? Or does anyone know what I'm missing on activating these features?

Is the T608 exclusive for Sprint?

Does anyone know if Sprint has exclusive rights to the T608 or will other carriers (i.e. VZW) also have it?

Phone is coming to sprint PCS!

I have sent a email to Sprint PCS asking if this phone will indeed be launched. I got a responce the next day saying it will be released, or "Coming Soon" as they put it, and that more information will be available the closer they get to the launch date (Which of course they would not say what that date is).

So it looks as if it IS coming. Just taking it's sweet A$$ time. 🙄
