HTC Touch Pro2 (CDMA)

I use Google for everything. Does this sync up with the contacts? Also how is the Google email? Is it "push" or very nearly push?

I was wondering how the alarm clock fucntions on the touch pro 2. I am currently using the bb tour and i love how bb's alarm clocks actually functions like a real alarm clock. The alarm continues to go off until the user physically turns it off and won't stop until you do so.

I used to own the original touch pro and the alarm clock would turn off by itself after a minute and would simply leave a message saying missed alarm. this didn't help me a bit and resulted in manny missed alarms and tardiness at work.

I was also wondering if the blackberry connect software is available for the touch pro 2. I am def interested in this phone but would hate to ditch the capabilities of bb connect.

i jus tried to update my phone through htcs website for the winmo 6.5. i typed my serial # in and it said the update wasnt for my phone. i have the htc touch pro 2 and i live in the us. am i doing something wrong?

Has anyone learned if there is someway to have the event reminder notification link to the reminder that caused the notification? Currently, I click on the new event notification and it just highlights it and nothing happens.

Can anyone tell me if the TP2 with WinMo 6.5 will be able to play either a Flash Video or H264 video that is embedded in a web page.

Many phone operating systems brag about their "REAL Web Browsers but I have not yet seen a Cell Phone OS (that is currently on the market) that can play a video embedded in a web page like you can do from IE on my desktop or laptop.

One side of the mini USB port of the Verizon TP2 is squared off, so a standard mini USB cord will not work. I am saying this because when I bough mine online, I purchased the accessory package that included a car charger and case. The car charger is useless because of the different connector.

As i saw this phone in many previews, the clock display was a "flip" clock (Rolodex style). Anyone know any way to get that clock on the Sprint version of the TP2? Thanks

I was doing a comparison on the Sprint version and Verizon verison.

I noticed that that the Verizon is a quad and Sprints a dual. I am confused.

Can someone clear up for me?

I thought that Sprint's was a world phone.

Hi Guys, I received my TP2 yesterday from VZW, as an upgrade to my trusty and pretty solid i760. I am done with configuration and have been using the phone.

One thing I can't seem to get to work is Voice Command. I have the same settings as my i760 on the Voice Command and it supposed to call out incoming calls and messages but it doesn't do it.

Also in the same note, I have set it up to Ring Once, yet when the call comes in, it keeps ringing.

On my i760 it would ring once, then the Voice Command would kick in. I'd like the same for the TP2. Any ideas? Thanks!

Should I get applications from Handango theu verizon or should I go to Windows Marketplace?

i have been waiting for this phone for months and dont seem that interested anymore. the droid is really starting to look like a really good phone.

is it possibly to put the android 2.0 software on the touch pro 2

I have only been able to get the accelerometer to work one way, and that is to rotate the screen towards the left, like when the keyboard is opened. Is this how it was designed?

Has anybody done a windows update with the the TP2? Did it improve the phone overall?

Does anyone know Whyyyy is this VZW device STILL sold out??? Any input on when it will get restocked? Im even willing to pay an overnight fee . Thanks!

I am confused about this, I got a quote about a month ago for this phone from a verizon operator, and today i was ready to buy and they said they had zero in stock, and no idea whether they would restock. Then, no store around me had it all.. What's going ? ?

These have been out of stock for a long time at Verizon. Was there a problem?

does the phone have a virtual qwerty keyboard along with the physical one

I have been to 3 company stores in the area and they don't have it. I am one that has to have a in person look to a phone. I never buy sight unseen.
Has anyone hear of a reason?
Seems like they are hype on the Hero and left the TP2 behind.
