External display - do you see the actual text message?
I own a Voyager but it is a brick so I am looking to replace it with the Env3. Can I see the actual text message on the external screen (even if I have to scroll through it)? I just don't want to see a message that I have a txt msg...
Dumb question probably. My old phone i just had to hit the volume on the side up or down once..and an incoming call would get muted. I've tried a few things and looked in settings. I'm sure I'm overlooking it, has to be possible.
I noticed that under the "Messaging" Menu there is a "Blogs" feature that you can select. It says that its to keep your favorite social networks and their email address. does anyone know what this is more specifically and how to use it? I also see that you are able to select a picture from your album and choose to "send to" then select blog. again no idea how to use it after that...
I just recently got this phone and so far I love it! The girl at Best Buy told me that you can set an MP3 as your ringtone. I have been trying to do that and haven't figure it out yet. Any suggestions??
I purchased the new Env 3 a couple of weeks ago. I love it. I was use to flip phones, and typed fast on them, i didnt know if i would get used to the keyboard. But i am glad i got it. The camera resolution was better than my Chocolate 3. I had bought the body glove cover to protect my phone, and an extended battery, i found out the case does not fit with the extended battery. Oh well. I may need it just in case of another hurricane! (i live in Houston) Overall i am loving my new phone!
Does anyone have any tips to avoid pocket dialing (other than to set the "unlock options" to "press twice"?) I have read that this phone does a lot less accidental dialing than previous models since you can set it so you have to press ok twice, but I just got this phone today and already had a few occasions where I accidentally did some stuff on it (1 call to my voicemail and a few random # combinations) while it was in my pocket and the double press option was on. Is there a way to, for example, require that the two ok presses be less than a second apart or something? If I accidentally hit ok while it's in my pocket, it seems pretty likely that I'll accidentally hit in again within the next 7 seconds.
I just got the env3 & after putin the ring & text volume on low it turns its self up after the first text that comes in .... & there is some thing that i like on the env2 that they changed like ... the back ground color of the text writing area & the key feel and the phone its self feels more solid then the nev3 but overall i like the phone better than the env2 but i think ima check out the lg touch
Short and simple: Can I type over 160 characters to other Verizon customers and receive them as well? I tend to write stories in my texts so I need to make sure I don't have to shorten my typing, lol. Thanks to anyone who has an answer!
I was playn’ with this phone the other day and saw something like a ‘voice clarity’ setting under sounds. The new touch didn’t have it. But I was wondering if anyone has played around with this and if it actually helps?
i got the env touch the other day and want to trade it in for the env3 because i tend to text a lot from the front and it drives me nuts having to stare at the screen while texting or even wanting to call someone on speed dial.
one thing i found today that i thought was really cool was you can edit the videos. i took a video of my dog and i recorded about 10 seconds too long and went back and took off those 10 seconds and even added a fade at the beginning and end! i was pretty impressed! but i just want to know if the env3 has the same feature. thanks!
