Samsung Omnia i910

After I purchased my Omnia I added the touch screen display protector that Verizon sells. It appears to have reduced the response of the touch screen especially using the keyboard. I've adjusted the screen several times and it didnt help. Finally I've removed the protector and it has greatly improved but I hate to have display unprotected from scratching.

Has anyone found a protector that doesnt reduce response???

I have had my Omnia for 6 weeks now but just now tried using VZ Navigator , the program is not working . it's saying there's a problem with the GPS , i was wondering if i need to enable something in settings or does Verizon have this program disabled. thanks

I am about to download S2U2 (iPhone locking style app) for my Omnia and the site has two available downloads: VGA and XVGA? I'm assuming this has something to do with the resolution but I'm not sure. Which should I install? Thanks.

Ipod recently broke and I'm considering buying the omnia, and not another ipod. Is there a way to sync it with i-tunes, or to play music purchased through i-tunes on the omnia?

I just have my omnia over a week and texts weren't a problem. Now I am getting some missent texts, people aren't receiving them some of the time and I'm wondering why not.. anyone have a clue?

1. What software is on the companion CD?

2. Can you upload/download photos/files from the phone to a computer (PC or Mac) via Bluetooth (or USB cable)?

when i am electing this phone to upgrade, i have to select a not free feature for e-mail or w/e, which i do NOT want but, on other smartphones i dont have to do that there is a pay per w/e option 😕

I just bought a new Mecury Milan with Microsoft Sync tech. The car and phone work great together. Yet there is a function that I am unable to use, which is the txting. The manual says your phone has to have bluetooth texting mess. WHat should happen is if i get a txt it will read it aloud for me, and I can even reply with preset messeges back. But I do not know how to make the bluetooth mess to work.

I just can't imagine a windows mobile phone not being able to do everything Mircosoft Sync has to offer.

Any ideas??

i am getting an "error 54" everytime i try to log into my windowslive mobile IM. I am entering my exact email, password, and it just doesn't want to log in.. this is blowing my mind. I'm trying really hard to like this phone, can anyone help?

how can i get the most out of opera? to create bookmarks? is that it? from what i understand i can visit my emails, and facebook, but what do i have to do to receive alerts. i have a simple hotmail account, any other non smartphone has mobile email built in, and blackberry's have the facebook app.. everytime i try to add a new email, it send me to a link that opens up opera, gets my hotmail page up with most of the text on left most portion of the screen. when i "x" out and check my email messaging , i'm not signed in. just got this phone and haven't gotten around to manual yet, but does anyone know how to make any program or app on the phone a widget instead of the standard 10 that you have an option of? it only lets me play with time, calendar, background, fm radio, mp3 player, clock, and a few others. i wish to be able to add shortcuts to certain internet sites as widgets or turns other things into widgets. any ideas?

PS. New Every Two has me at $99.99 for the storm and Free Omnia. Price usually is not an option for me, I'll pay more for quality.

I need to know if it is easy to navigate using the touch screen as in, with one hand while i am driving, I do it easily with my LG voyager, back and forth, back and forth. This will minimize chances of a collision

I heard that the Omnia was released in a white version and a red version in other countries. dose anyone know if verizon will receive any more colors other than black??

I've had the Omnia since it was first available and really loved it, but I almost threw it out the window so so so many times because it is so frustrating to type on. I've had it. I went to Verizon to get a Blackberry, but found out that Verizon disable the WiFi on every Blackberry. So I went to AT&T and signed up and bought a BB Bold. LOVE the phone and REALLY REALLY love the keybard. I hope the service is at least good. I know I will sacrifice service a bit, but it's worth leaving Verizon...they are selfish crooks and I know many people with most likely leave them as other carrier's service coverage gets better.

Is there a way to lock the phone when using widgets?
