recovering info saved on phone after damage

I have my old phone and would like to download safe photos & messages (text&picture) onto my home computer but I had to get new phone after my screen was damaged. No longer do I have active service on that phone so I wonder if it's possible? I have power and the usb cords to hook up to computer...

Better than the M300?

I know the people on these forums tend to not care about these basic phones, but I know alot of us work in the sales side of this industry.

The M300 was a disaster, how much better is this one?

over in the "Sprint Adds Pair of Samsung Clamshells" discussion:

Seems Nice

Many times we here are into high tech or expensive phones, heck its what we like. But, there is a need for a good simple solid phone, no matter the carrier. Either one just needs a phone with no added stuff, or if one has a business which needs to provide phones for employees. These two seem to fit the bill, along with the new AT&T Samsung A-237 a few stories down from this one.
