micro SD card! Will not show up!

I took my card out of my old voyager. It has lot of sounds and pictures on it. When I go to look at my pictures, it shows some, but over 50% is a torn picture. Is this a software problem? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have quite a few pictures that I would like to use. Im not really worried about the songs as much as pictures. Can anyone help me out here and tell me what I can do if anything

New software

I just downloaded the over the air update and received version 18 from 15. I think the sound is a little louder and cleaner then it was in 15. Any one know what else it may have done or a site that tells you a list of updates and what they do?

Does the boulder have "Key Gaurd"?

I currently have the updated boulder. I cannot find a "key guard" option that allows you to lock the PTT keys (or any other for that matter). Even though the PTT button is somewhat recessed I still find I frequently activate it by accident when removing the phone from it's case or my pocket. Has anyone else found if a "key guard" option exists? Thanks.

just bought one for wife

Verizon had the older non-PTT model on closeout for $29...

will I have to take this to the verizon store to get flashed with the v9 software, or should NIB units already come with latest software?

New Boulder Speakerphone?

Does the newest Boulder with the the front speaker work with the phone closed? perhaps it worked this way before they put the speaker on front.

I'm due up for a new every two in a few weeks and have been more than happy with my type Z as I am rough on phones and this has been the only one I've had to withstand abuse.

G-ZONE BOULDER HELP

I want to transfer my ring tones and pictures from my old phone to my new G-Zone. DataPilot will let me transfer my contacts but not pics or ring tones. BitPim will do nothing. Can anyone tell me how to transfer the pics and ring tones?

One more negative

They sure keep piling up. But the response time on all of its interface is really sluggish. When you try to delete a text message, it takes a few seconds. Even when you answer the phone, it takes a moment for the screen to change.

I'm wondering if this has become a headache for Verizon yet.

ringtones - how do i do it (noobie)

excuse the question, i just got this casio boulder phone and was wondering how to use the sounds that are on the phone (clapping, crowd, b-day, rainforest, train) for either ringtones or alert sounds, and my 2nd question,
how do i put songs (mp3) or sounds (.wav) on the phone and use as ringtones or alert sounds, can i use the whole song as a ringtone, i have a small .wav file i'd like to use as an alert for messages.
here is where i got the .wav file if this helps

Have new batches arrived?

I am reading on other forums that a "new batch" of Boulders have arrived with better sound quality -- but I don't believe it for a second and I won't until Verizon owns up to the failures thus far of Boulder.

Now way they've sourced, had manufactured, installed and shipped an entire new earpiece this quick.

Tried turning "voice privacy" off -- can't tell difference

Reading reviews on Phonearena.com, someone suggested the sound quality is vastly improved by turning voice privacy off from its default "on" setting.

I did this. I don't see a difference.

This phone is getting panned badly across the boards everywhere.

More on that glitchy UI

It takes a full four seconds to delete a text message. The memory isn't that grand, so when you're trying to kill off a bunch, it's really tedious.

Also, when I receive a call, it takes a few moments for it to "connect", while the screen gets all glitchy for a moment.

I hated the negative aspects of this phone the day I got it, but decided to try it for a few weeks because that's what Verizon recommended. It only gets worse.

Yes, I did throw it to the bottom of a swimming pool and it still works. Yay.
