BlackBerry Curve 8320

Just ggot a BB 8320 Curve and I had some issues imported my contact numbers over from the sim card. As a result, I need to update every contact i have. On my old Nokia, I downloaded a free application that allowed me to work with my address book on the PC. From handango, I see a Address book synch applicaiton that costs $20, but it seems very complicated. Does anyone have an idea on a less costly easier solution?

I just had a quick question--do any of you guys out there know if you can log onto myspace with your curve?
The ones at my store won't log on for some reason, and I'm not sure if I just need to adjust the browser settings. It's strange because the pearl can...

just bought 8320 with t-mobile.. look pretty good and i am very excited.

i have 2 lines - 1 with bb internet plan and other without bb internet plan

questions:-

1. can I use yahoo messenger and google talk in the phone using the home wi-fi network. I am able to use them on phone with bb internet connection but not the other phone using the wireless network at home.

2. Skype with the curve. I installed iskoot on both the phones. I can call any landline with skypeout but I am not able to call another online skype contact (on PC).. any help???

3. Any other browser that I can use instead of the default bb browser. I have read that the default browser is liited. I tried installing mine opera 4 beta but could not install on any of ...

I can't seem to sign into AIM on my Curve. When I try to, it tells to go to blackberry.com/aim and then that webpage tells me to go somewhere else and I don't know how to get it to work.

Also, for the Blackberry Messenger, when I add a contact, it says pending and it never asks authorization from the other person. I really don't know how to fix it.

If someone can help me with these two issues, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have a 4 gb card for my curve and I want to have a song wake me up in the morning. When I select a song, it only plays for about 30 seconds and starts over again. Is there a way to make the entire song play as my alarm?

Also for those who have Opera Mini 4 everytime I try and install it it says failed to connect to the internet however I have full bars (UMA or EDGE). Anyone expierence these dilemmas before? Thanks

im having a problem with my curve. i can put music videos on my curve but for some weird reason the audio is like 30 secs. ahead of the actual video can someone help me out. what im i doing wrong? thnx a bunch

I've heard of the @home. I have not signed up for it though, really don't need it.
I tried switching my phone off, and just having the wifi radio on, and to my surprise I still was receiving calls. The network shows UMA. Am I going to be charged for this? Did tmobile sign me up for @home without telling me?

Is there a shortcut key that allows you to switch ring profiles? On my Pearl, you could hold the # key to switch between Normal and Vibrate. Is there anything comparable on the Curve? It looks like you have to manually select the profile from a list each time.

It's been several times that I'd read about too short of a battery life on BB Curve.
I personally go for 3 days without recharge. My usage includes talking over the UMA at work and home, regular EDGE usage, texting, picture taking/sending, and at least an album or two of music listening a day. All usages are moderate.
In my opinion, phone's battery life is just fine if not GREAT!

I saw that I can use aim on this phone but can I use yahoo messenger too? If so can I be logged on to both aim and yahoo messenger at the sametime?

I am really wondering about this @Home WiFi. The phone works very well at TMobile Hotspots, but I have been try for five days to get my @Home set up and I can't get it to work consistently. I have tried three different wireless routers, two of which were purchased through TMO. Finally, TMO Customer Care told me to exchange the phone. I did that and I still can't get the phone to stay on UMA. When I am on a call it consistently switches back and forth between UMA and EDGE, and often times it will disconnect me. This was one of the major selling points for me. Anyone having the same issues or have had success solving this problem?

Anyone know when Yahoo! Go. will be available for this device?

When looking at the case to the 8320, it looks like a belt clip could slide in the back... Did mine not come with the clip? Is there anywhere to get a clip for this case?

Does anyone know if Skype can be installed on the BB8320 for at least skype to skype calling?

I recently changed jobs and my new company uses T-Mobile. The coverage in my condo is horrible, I have to be on my balcony to get a signal. In my home, I have a regular Comcast wireless setup, do I need to purhcase a different wireless router to use the HotSpot feature w/ the BB Curve? Also, will my coverage get better? At this point I am considering getting a home phone (which I have not done is almost 10 years). I appreciate any and all info!
