LG Voyager VX-10000

I know I read in previous threads somewhere... Someone was speaking of an upgrade of V13 software. I've heard nothing about this upgrade. Can someone provide me with a link of anything talking about a V13 software release.

I keep finding blue-ish spots on the external touch screen. This is the second time its happened to me on my second voyager. Has this happened to anyone else. Also, does anyone know if i can exchange/return the voyager after it already being replaced?

Can not open pics in email. is this correct or is phone acting up. And also in pic mode can not zoom in or out. any help is appreciated.

just got my version 11 upgrade and i gotta tell ya the damn upgrade took these damn morons 4 damn hours. no damn lie i was waiting in the store for 4 hours and i dont even like the damn upgrade it has all the same damn glitches in it. got to play with the blackberry pearl though that thing is horrible too,where is technology and customer service going these damn days?

Just put v11 on my voyager & noticed it's still has glitches.I still have problems with getting onto certain sites with web,"works fine with old verison" two second delay with headset for navigator,v.v.m.if wireless headset is on & you miss a call & the voicemail comes through,the phone shuts down.I also noticed that you can't asign a ringtone for the vvm "what they have is too low even with volume all the way up" and no missed call reminder.Has anyone else had similar problems with this verison?

If anyone is interested or looking for a voyager im selling mines its roughly 4 months old. The Verizon store gave me a new one out the box because they bricked my old one about 4 months ago. The phone is in great condition everything works, screen has been well protected with screen protectors, body of the phone has been protected with silicone covers. It has version 11 firmware.

I need your help. I currently have software version 07 on my Voyager. Now I see version 11 is available and the possibility a newer update version will soon be released. Should I go ahead and get V11 or wait for next release? If I go ahead and get V11, what is the pros and cons I need to be aware of? Thanks for everyones input.

Is anyone here using a 4 or higher Gig card in their phone? The stores tell me that cards that big are HC (high capacity) and not all phones can read them. I called verizon and they said I could use up to an 8 gig regular micro disk but stores all tell me there is no such thing. Anything over 2 is HC. Sooooo..if you are using a larger card is it working OK?

I used to make my own ringtones and then transfer them from my PC to the phone memory card. Now, I have a MAC and I thought that if I just plugged in the usb cable , it would work. That is not the case. Anyone have a Voyager and a Mac and find a way to work to get ringtones ?

Hi, question, my voyager is all of sudden constantly shutting off and rebooting itself, before i can make a quick phone call or text, it reboots again.. can't get it to stop, removed battery and let it sit.. never upgraded anything on it, tried looking for a reset button.. nothing. I remembered there was a number plus the # for some kind of an update, never did it. does anyone know what it is? Or do I have to take this one in to the store? Had the phone almost a year to the month, never had a problem like this repeating itself over and over.. can someone help?

I hate when people down grade a phone when it comes out! Verizon is very good at fixing the bugs with new software updates which I dont know any other carrier that does. This phone the Voyager is only gonna get better in time! Be patient some of you! And the Dare is in no way better than the Voyager

I guess im getting mixed reviews. I am interested in buying this phone but a dealbreaker is not being able to use the speakerphone with the phone closed.

Can you use the speakerphone with the phone closed?

Just got the new version. don't see any difference between V09 and V11. Anyone have release notes? VZW rep said it has some new games and enhancements for visual voice mail. That's about it.

just a quick thread about how much everyone uses their voyager, as how everyone has this phone from little kids to old ladies, i had it the day it came out although i don't think anyone uses it as much as i do, im at about 16 hrs a day usage everyday. as i use it from the time i get up in the morning for calls and tv through bluetooth stereo headset then i get to my office and stream the tv {msnbc} through my stereo all day , as is everyone i work with is addicted to election/economy coverage and i use all the other crap it does everyday . and i fall a sleep with th tv on everynight on my table so i dont burn out my plasma. just wanted to find out if anyone uses the phone more then me?

Do you know when the BIG update and final one for the Voyager is going to happen. Thanks for all your help in this voyager process.

Good afternoon fellow Verizoners!! I just got the brand new software update V11 for the titanium voyager. However, i do not notice any difference to the phone. I thought this update was supposed to bring the virtual keyboard for texting and the drag and drop feature like the Dare. Can someone please hel me tell me why I am not getting these updates. Also what other updates are supposed to come with this latest flash. Thanks everyone for their inputs. 😁

Spoke to Lg and my friend who is a Tech at my local Verizon store and there is another update coming but no release date or details yet. I will keep you people posted.......
