I am having problems syncing the XV6900 to Vista. I have a large number of contacts, so I reduced the contacts and deleted the original partnership. I connected using the USB cable and made a new partnership. I was able to get a small (couple hundred contacts entered). After this sync was made, no more seem to be able to be done. I am able to connect both with USB and bluetooth. There are no conflicts showing, you can view files, the computer thinks it is syncing, but the HTC XV6900 says that the synchronization could not be completed and the last time it was synced was just after the device partnership was deleted and the smaller list of contacts was put in. The support code showing is 0x80070008, but that does not seem to show up an...

Does anynone know if there is a way to get the touch, to go back to Windows 6.0. Hard reset doesn't make phone go back.

Just curious. I am still running 6.0 and when i use wireless active sync any email that i recieve that has a rule not to touch the inbox but to go to a sub folder that mail is not synced to my device wirelessly. Is anyone else having the issue or is this fixed in 6.1? Any help would be great

Selected full screen view when browsing and could not get out of it as the menu bar is not available. Even when you close everything it still comes up in full screen mode. Any ideas or am I an idiot? Just got the phone.

first one is the keyboard anoying it switches to the 2 key. all you need to do is download the happy tapping keyboard. it gives you the full qwerty at all times.

mms download the mms app from ppc geeks just google it

you can watch you tube and put flash on your touch simply downloading 2 drives TCPMP and flash just google it and it will come up.

Next trick i found out to see stored videos on your card in the video program you have to store your actual videos in the dcim media section of your card.

what i dont know yet is how to set mp3 ringtones for text messages if someone knows please share....also how to put mp3 ringtones from your card without saving it to your device...and without paying 30 buks for the contacts pro app.

I love this phone but I use it as a pager also and am worried that without a sound notification after the initial text sound notification - that I wont wake up and might miss an important page. All of the other platforms I have experiences have a chime of some type that keeps reminding you of a text or phone call that was missed - How can I get windows mobile pro (touch) to perform this function? Is there any download available?

Becuase its slooowwww. Slower than IE. And its supposed to be faster than IE. I've seen Opera Mini on regular cellphones and its fast and to be truthfull better.

Is anyone having any issues like me?

I'm having issues with syncing my HTC Alltel Touch with Outlook 2003 SP3.

ActiveSync will sync everything except CONTACTS. Ive tried reinstalling ActiveSync and that didn't work. Soft reset on HTC and that didn't work.

Does anyone have a clue how to correct this?

I am thinking of buying this phone, my question is in everyones opinion is this phone better than the htc xv6800? Which one do you guys recommend?

has anyone had a problem with people not hearing you at all when the phone is not connected to bluetooth? my phone will ring and i'll answer hearing them fine but no matter what i do, they cannot hear me unless i turn my bluetooth on...any ideas?

Gps really works with certain add on like sprint navigation and microsoft footnote

I've had 3 6800's over the last 6 months (for various reasons) and all have suffered from the wash-out pixel issue as described in my post in the respective forum. Just curious if anyone's 6900 has developed the washed area in the bottom eft of the screen. Thanks in advance!
