Motorola RAZR2 V9m

Guys just wondering if its the same verizon UI,...with no firmware hacks in the future.

Would anyone be excited for this phone?

Personally id like the samsung u740 more if the resolution was better.

Is there any LEGIT info and/or updates on this phone, or release date?

Does anyone know when this phone is due out? It looks pretty nice.

My RAZR2 V8 should be in my hands around 4:30 PM tomorrow.
While I know its not the Verizon version or even the AT&T version, I can post some opinions on build quality, screens, RF, etc..

😕 Im I have a question. When you have a phone from verizon with an mp3 player on it, does that mean that you can use the memory card and put it in the computer, add songs, and then when you put the card in the phone it plays for you? because I know cingular and sumcom does that. But I dont know about verizon because all I know is about the wak UI and thats it. PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND

Make sure you are aware that features like screen resolution and processor speed won't be a huge issue and will hardly be noticeable unless you know what to look for. A phone's processor speed isn't something that most people notice at all, because the normal functions of the phone will run smoothly at either speed. The faster speed is used on the V9 for video telephony, which is not a current offering by US CDMA carriers. 262k versus 65k colors is an interesting debate. Everyone loves colors however I will also tell you that having a 65k QVGA display is more popular than a 262k VGA and QVGA combined in current phones because of the battery life it saves and the fact is that anything QVGA looks better than 262k VGA. Besides looks i dont see much difference between the maxx ve and the new razr2. They both have same UI and will do the same things.

I hope theres gonna be a hack to put alltel firmware on the verizon version!

When will VZW get this phone? I heard of delays but no exact release date. ANYONE????? 😳

if your going to upgrade the RAZR do it right, improve on EVERYTHING, even though it has stereo bluetooth it still isent 2.0+edr, the screen is only 65k colors, and my m610 is lighter, i was thinking i was FINALLY goin to be apart of the RAZR family, but once again SAMSUNG got it right. Not to mention that as a sprint tech, i have seen numerous razrs come back broken in less then 2-3 months and i have had my m610 for well over 6 and havnt had one problem.

Will this phone have no problems and be reliable unlike the razr and krzr and all the other garbage motorola has been making for the past 5 years!

Look at the battery specs.. 730 MAH is like the smallest battery I have seen yet..

How can they do 220 mins on talk time and 2 giant screens on a 730 MAH ?

I am very leary about the battery life..
