Pricing not yet available, but sprint and verizon will be selling their's for $250 and $300. Both carriers are cdma like alltel so i expect the price to be in that area.

Hi! I heard the java gmail client and gmap are supposed to work on the v9m for sprint. Has any one tried those out on other java based products? What did you think?

So I came across the chance to play around with the RAZR2 yesterday for about two hours (thanks to my Dad), and I must say, I was quite impressed. The first thing I noticed about the phone was how glistening and shiny it was, the same basic coat as the upcoming MOTORKR V6m, it basically reflected off everything. Also the screen was huge, and vibrant and the touch screen controls was a nice little addition.

The one thing I noticed that the Phonescoop review stated was the spring that when you closed it shocked the phone and made it reverberate. This in fact was not the case as it closed with a silky smooth feeling. The size was a little suprising, because the phone was actually bigger than what I expected. My favorite part:

The real problem lies with Verizon's standardized menu structure. We've railed about it many times, but bear with us as we're going to do so again here. Besides the menu's dreary, text-heavy design it's also impossible to find many things. Why put the camera under the Get it Now menu? It just doesn't make sense. You can adjust the backlighting, the time, and the brightness on the display, but you can't change the text size.

So… anyone notice that the new Motorola RAZR 2 looks exactly like the old LG VX-8600. Copying the smooth profile instead of having the old Razr bottom lip.

It doesn't say the exact date, but it's in September, and it will be $299.99 after a $50 mail in rebate. This is for a new 2-year contract.

I will be getting this phone in early September,which is a potential release date, no matter what the cost because I will be on a plan with my mom and will not have to pay for anything but this phone. But before I do I just had a few questions that I hope you guys can help me answer. Is that bronze color going to be the only color available to Verizon customers? Is it possible to get the metallic blue version of it and still have vreizon's name on it? And I don't exactly live in the city so how good will this phone be at finding a signal? The last thing is if it has the indented circle pattern on the side or it just has the smooth plastic.

It seems metropcs just loves to be behind and keep secrets.Is this growing company getting this new razar2 v9m? Keep all info. PRICE,DATE,ETC. to this thread.thanks

im under my mom's name but soon im gettin my own account, my thing is that i cant get the phone right now since i believe the two year agreement price is $250

lil bit more than what i have.

I'm pretty sure most know i guess lol i just wanted 2 say something. She didnt tell me the price but ive heard from many places that it will be $250 with two year agreement.

I just got an email from Sprint confirming the September 4th release date and a Retail price of $399.99(It will be $249.99 for new customers or customers with a rebate eligibility of 22+ mos.).

am i the only one that thinks the two-tone color on the VZW V9m looks good? I honestly dont care as i got rid of their UI and horrible phones a couple months ago but , call me crazy, i would rather have a v8 in this two tone color
