I want the grey one

Can someone please tell me where to get the grey one branded to at&t.
At&t stores (Lancaster, Pa) don't even have the white one. Online doesn't have it listed.
If someone could just let me know where to buy the at&t branded grey one I would be very thankful.
I've seen it with the at&t logo on you tube and various other places, but I have searched everywhere.
Either I'm an idiot or I'm missing something.
Thanks guys.

loose slide

Ok I just purchased one of these babies yesterday, and when I did, there was no screen plastic thing on it and the screen was smudged up. I asked him if it had been returned and resold and he assured me it had not. When the phone is shut it feels very sturdy and nice, but when slid open it is quite noticeably loose. Is this the case with everyone else's???

Question about the "lights"

I just got this phone, and dont know how to change the lights on the side of the phone. They are green, and the rest of the lights on the phone are teal. I can change them for when the phone rings, but how do you change it for when your just using the phone? I only have two themes on the phone, because at&t blocks everything, but I thought you could change the lights on the side according to the theme your using. Anyone????? 😁

W580i Bluetooth Profiles (AT&T Branded)

I'm going to buy the W580i Boulevard Black (well, hopefully black, any color other than white) cause the Boulevard Black/Orange scheme matches my Sony VOIP phone... The Mylo.

AT&T is usually really good about NOT touching the Bluetooth profiles in the firmware. I was wondering if the PAN (Personal Area Network) profile is still enabled on the AT&T branded W580i?

Also can anyone confirm the colors AT&T has obtained for this phone. I know Gray and White, but Gray has yet to appear on AT&T's website. Letstalk and Wirefly have both. I'm wondering if there's an issue or did AT&T cancel Gray for Black?

themes

I just got my w580i and couldn't wait to play with the themes, they looked so cool on all of the videos that I saw of the phone while I was researching and trying to decide if I wanted it. Well, there were only two themes on the phone and I contacted Sony and asked where the themes were and they said I could download some from their website, which is true, but they still don't offer the ones I wanted? Does anyone know where I can get more themes? Also, Sony advertises that it comes with preinstalled games and they are only trial versions, what's up with that? If anyone else has any info about this please fill me in.

Did Rich....?

I wonder if he meant to display his work and cell numbers under this review of the phone. Wonder how many calls he will get from phone scoopers? Think I will give him a call.

Custom Ringtones

Has anyone figured out how to add your own mp3 ring tones. I have tried pieces of songs less than 20 seconds but I never have the option to use them as a ring tone, but I can used them as alerts

Stand-by screen available on ATT version?

My old w600i would show a gray screen w/ time and message/ missed call status, but it only shows for a second on my w580i when I plug in my headset. Does anyone know how to get it to show all the time? Thanks

Only White? (AT&T)

Anyone know if the black or even grey W580's are coming to AT&T soon? I could deal with a white one, but I'd much rather have the black one.

Or.. maybe I'm just retarded and/or blind and the other ones are on there, just not listed as seperate phones like some other phones are...

Sony W580i Shake Control (It Works Fine, Whats The Deal?)

I found after reading the insructions, (as few of us do) that using the shake control to change song on the w580i work without a hitch, as the instructions state all you have to do is hold the (W)walkman button down and shake or flick the phone and tadaaa it changes tracks, amazing out all the reviews I have read this is the on the top of the list of things that do not work for this phone.

Very impressed with the w580i

My sister in law just ordered the black w580i from letstalk and I just took a look at it and am very impressed! Because I wasnt able to see the 580 in the cor store I purchased a v9 and really do like it, but the 580 is just so much more in such a smaller form. I wish it had 3g, but I live in an edge only area, so thats cool, I was very impressed with the amazing screen clarity and the speed of the menu. Many se that Ive used before just seemed like it took forever to navigate through menus. I am actually considering returning my v9 for the 580 or possibly waiting for the z750.

N75 or W580i?

I think this phone is pretty good but the keypad is super tiny and the screen is not that big. Also were the games on this phone trial editions. I also keep wondering why this phone may be better than the Nokia N75 which has symbian and better video by far. I am just wondering if I should keep going through warranty exchange to get this phone. Thank you!

Cracked Keys & Video Ringtones...

Users beware. This phone, along with its sister the S500i, are notorious for cracked keys. It is a know issue with SE & easily happens. THey just crack right down the middle, making your phone ugly & having an odd feel when pressing down. More info on HoFO

Video ringtones are enabled on the S500i, not sure if they work on the W580i. Its really cool because you can record your friends via video & apply it as a ringtone. Or record video clips of your fave songs & edit it in VideoDJ. Just overlay your ringtone on the video clip & vioal! Video ringtone. I have 9 of them!

Cracked Keys ~~~

I am hearing lot of owners complaining about Cracked keys...
But the Review Never mentioned about it.
Is that because Its not properly tested or Just the initial review?

Any inputs are highly appreciated, as i am thinking of buying this phone.

video plz

I love your video reviews... and I think these needs one. That way I can watch the w810i video and this one back to back. I'd like to see it compared to the w810 and it would be helpful to see the menus in action. Thanks!
