question about text and email separation

I recently got the Curve and can not figure out how to create a new folder with just my text messages. I have two email accounts and I have changed the settings to "separate" instead of "combined" but still only can see the messages folder (which has all email and text) and my two email accounts.

Can't I get another folder with text alone also?

Does the Curve work with Macs?

Hi, I am thinking about getting the Blackberry Curve and I want to make sure that it is fully compatible with my macbook. My macbooks is pretty new, so will the software sync all of my contacts/notes/etc from my blackberry curve to my mac?

T-Mobile use?

I know everyone is totally satisfied with their BB Curve and service plans off AT&T. I'm curious about if anyone has attempted to use this for T-mobile. I just renewed my contract with them never really thinking that something this awesome was ever gonna come out. Is it worth paying early term. fees and attempt to get a contract with AT&T? Is it cheaper to buy the Curve and stick with T-mobile? What is everyone's take on this?

Help!!! on Blackberry

Hello I wanted to know if the Blackberry Curve is coming to Sprint any time soon. Since 8830 Blackberry already release in CDMA version for Sprint and Verizon. I've read high rating on them Blackberrys and I would love to own the Curve for my first time. The only problem is that I dont want to switch carrier to AT&T. I've been with Sprint for 4 years and havent yet and any problem with them.

BlackBerry 8300 8800 Series Defects

I can't believe that with the release of the 8300 and 8830 that they've still not fixed their display defect.

Every model of new trackball-based BlackBerry that isn't an 8100 Pearl that I have seen has pits all over the display lens. The AT&T models seem to be the worst of the bunch, but still, it is very annoying to be looking at your screen and seeing these little specs of iridescent refraction that look like burnt out or stuck on pixels, or grime on the display, just to find out it's a manufacturer's flaw.

For the price these devices cost, they shouldn't be so poorly manufactured.

RIM of course sent back a form letter denying the existence of this, of course.

Software to manage bank accounts

I am new to Blackberry. I love my Curve and will probably stick with Blackberry for a while. I have used pocket Quicken and Microsoft Money on prior phones to track my bank accounts and transactions. Is there something equivalent to Quicken or Microsoft Money that I can use on my Blackberry? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RIM: Nothing new?

All that was there was the Curve which is already out?

I guess Verizon isn't getting the Pearl.

K850 5 megapixels

Does the fact it is a five megapixel camera phone not seem to be something worth mentioning in the article. I know it was mentioned, but is that not a big deal in terms of cell phone cameras?

Squish Plastic Issue FIX!!!

Ok, if you haven't heard by now, a lot of 8300's are having an issue with the soft plastic (rubbery stuff) on the right side of the device (if you are holding it looking at the screen) being squishy. Not a major issue if you ask me, but not everyone will agree...so here is an easy fix. Take a very small piece of paper, 1in by 1in or smaller, fold it in half. Then take the back off of your device, and stick the piece of paper behind where the squish occurs. I personally used a half size post-it not that was torn in half, then folded once, and it works perfectly. No more squish. Just make sure to keep the paper clear of the holes that the back cover slots into.

Enjoy,

Nick

Blackberry Curve & Text Messaging

I currently have the razr and i am considering the pearl or curve (leaning towards the curve), i was wondering does the curve have smileys and multimedia templates? I hate having to make my own smileys when I could just click on one and its there in the message. I do alot of text messaging ( like 4000+ a month). I also seen that on blackberry website you can download yahoo messenger, which is what i use. 😁 thanks guys 🙂
