Volume and Ringtones

Hey all

Is it me(my device really) or is the volume for tones VERY low........I previously had the 8700 with T-Mobile, and the LOW on that is the same as the HIGH on this?

Also, how do you download ringtones? The help says you are suppose to go into Media, Ringtones, All ring tones, and select download tones, but i do not have that option

Syncing with PocetMac Fails when Mounted with Micro SD

Remove the Micro SD card because Mac loads 2 Files on it that cannot be read by the phone. .DS Store and Trash Folders are loaded on the SD card and cause conflict. In the past a program called File Buddy culd be used to delete these files and properly eject the mounted micro SD without these files. Pocet Mac is not supported properly by Verizon. Just a heads up fpr MAC users.

SIM Card?

How does this work, does Sprint and/or Verizonwireless provide a sim card for overseas use? Or is the gsm side unlocked and you just buy a local sim card?

Online Release??

Initially the word was this device was going to be released on May 14 for business customers and online. It still isn't up on Verizon's site and was curious if anyone knew when it'll be available. My assumption is the May 28 consumer release will coincide with the online release.

Also if anyone has seen the phone please let me know how it works.

Battery Life

Interesting, I just compared the 8800 cingular version and the battery life is much longer on the 8800. Don't know why this is so, thought they were the basically the same phone? Of course Verizon will criple some of the software features, but battery life?

curve

The curve is the Blackberry I have been waiting for. I want to keep Verizon though. Does anybody know or can speculate if and when Verizon will have it?

Color (Wrong choice)

When will these people listen and learn. Business people like a dark phone that does not stick out like a Nascar advertisement on the belt. VZW and these phone companies take BRANDING to a new level. As silly as it sounds, I will not buy this phone because of the silver color. Why is it so hard to stick to black? Comments?

Almost the perfect phone...

Why can't there be a phone with CDMA and at least GSM 1900....

Would make it sooooo much easier for us idiots that have a GSM and CDMA provider...

And what happened to the Camera?
