HTC Mogul / XV6800 / PPC6800 / P4000

So in my drunken stupidy i realized my PS3 wireless controlers connect and charge useing mini USB. so i was like sweet! and pluged in my Mogul....

....needless to say, it go extremely hot and started smoking...i dont think it did any damage...but yeaaa...it was only pluged in for like 15 min. So I advise not doing it...ha

Hey guys, the sprint music store wont work on my phone. I try to go to it and key shows up on the screen in the top middle, i click on it and it says an application error has occured. Pretty sure i have the updated rom(2.09.651.3) any ideas?

I would love to get this phone but I'm a little hesitant because i'm LEFT handed and I would like to know if it was possible to move the "scroll Bar" on the right side of the screen to the left side so that it would make it easiser for Left handed users to scroll up and down using the stylus. if it possible by using a crack of some sort of by changing the windows theme...what ever it is..please provide your feedback!! thanks in advance.

I work at best buy currently but not in the cell phone department, but i have asked them if they know anything about upcoming verizon phones and they said they know absolutely nothing and i believe them. best buy sells verizon phones but its not at all a verizon store, we only have about 8 cell phones and we never get high end ones (dont have xv6700 or any trio).



today i visited a verizon store and asked how much it would cost to cancel a line (cause im tired of waiting for new phones)...

I've been shopping for my FIRST PDA phone and have been nervous about what to buy. I have my heart set on this 6800 (although I'm disappointed by the BLUE color).

I've been checking my local Verizon stores and yesterday, when I went to check, the salesperson told me that the 6800 is on their new rebate list (published by Verizon). I confirmed with him that it was NOT the 6700, and he showed me that the 6800 has a $50 rebate. He could not tell me what the release date would be, but expected it would be in the month of October.

I just swapped my 6700 for the 6800 (HTC MOGUL SPRINT) and i thinki my software is currupt. I dont have Sprint music store and when i try to run the music program it freexes.

Anyone know where i can get a software update to try to fix this??

Do the 6800 have ondemand built in or does it need to be downloaded? I spoke with an on demand rep and they didn't believe me when i told them ondemand wasn't on my phone. She was pretty useless with the answer she gave me. Any info would be great, and even on the tv part too.

if any of you top guys for verizon are listening. what is the delay with the pda phones? were waiting and your new phones announced today isn't what we want. iphone killer ohh please. 😛 if you want a stir release the 6800 or get the tilt in your line up. anyone reading this can you comment along with me so maybe they will get the hint that their 4 phone holiday lineup isn't what we were waiting for. thanks in advance

Has anyone been able to download youtube video on the 6800? If so, where can i find info on that?

I am considering buying the mogul but I have noticed that when you try and dial from the touch screen it seems a little slow and lags displaying the numbers on the screen versus the Treos touch screen. I have only tried the demo at sprint but curious if it's like that for all of them. Is it WM6? I have a Samsung IP830 with WM5 and it's really quick responding.

Slightly off-topic, but my concerns stem from the delayed release of this phone. I hope VZW gets this phone out this week, because I need a smart-phone ASPAP. AT&T customers in my area are very happy with the network quality (Philly/DE market). I'm not sure of the difference between the upcoming TyTN II (Kaiser: https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p =1297) and the XV6800. On Verizon's website, the XV6700 is showing out of stock...does this mean the release is right around the corner?!

Can anyone who own a ppc-6800 (mogul) tell me what the call volume sounds like. For example, can I hear the other person loudly or is the volume low. I have a treo 700p and I had to put volumecare application on it so that I could actually hear the other person during a conversation. If the ppc-6800 volume is low, do you know of any applications that I could put on.

The XV6800 demo phone has arrived in the stores along with the i760. This finally means we'll be launching it soon so everyone can finally stop speculating. I'll keep you guys up to date on release date.

so I am fairly new to this smart phone deal. I just bought the mogul 3 days ago. I have not installed anything on my computer yet. I have set up my email and windows live on the mogul. but I want the sprint nusic store. apparently I need to upgrade the software. so is that something I need to do with the aid of a pc or can I do it straight from my mogul. I apologize i'm sure its a very rookie question but like I said i'm new to the smart phone thing. anywho thanks for all the help.
