I noticed almost right away when I got this phone that camera pictures, especially noticeable on close-ups, are slightly elongated vertically. Hey, my face isn't all that great to begin with, and then when you stretch it out a bit...yikes! Not sure if this is only my phone, so I'd appreciate some feedback if anyone else has noticed, or if your camera looks fine. Thanks!
I remember there was a way to set up synchronization between the RAZR V3 and Yahoo! for contacts and calendar, but I can't find the info anywhere on the web anymore. There used to be instructions on mobile.yahoo.com. Does anyone know how to set up over-the-air synchronization with a V3xx to Yahoo! contacts and calendar?
I am wondering since this phone, as i was told by cingular does not allow a warranty yet does any one have the problem with their external display "flicker" or "static" on when you when you use the right external "light up" key to view it? I am wondering if this model is having display issues. My original razr did not have this issue. THe best way to describe it is if you were truning on an old tube television, and the view comes up like the picture tube is ready to short out or needs to warm up before it displays. My phone is less than a week old.
I just spent about $400 on the phone, plan, 2G memory and an SD card reader. I have an old iMac G3 and I was told that I can use the card reader to put songs and pictures onto my phone and use the songs as ringtones. I spent all this money and spent hours and hours last night trying to figure out how to use my music as ringtones but I cant figure it out. The problem I am having, is that I can drag and drop my music onto the card reader and listen to the songs on my phone, but It wont allow me to set them as ringtones. I have tried everything I can think of but my imagination hasn't been able to go far lately. I also havn't been able to get pictures to show up after transfering them, but I was told that pictures might just be too big and I mi... (continues)
All buttons dont work except the END/OFF button [help!]
Well okay I dont know how this happened, but all of a sudden my cell phone just doesnt let me press any other buttons unless its the OFF or/and END button. This is frustrating me.
Just to make sure its not dead or finished or DONE WITH, I charged it and it makes that beeping noise which it was supposed to do. Then I took my house phone and called my cellphone and my cell rang. I picked it up and I was still allowed to have a convo on it.
I was wondering if this is a fixable problem? Please and thanks!
I'm just using the web browser on V3xx. The phone is capable of 3.6 Mbps, AT&T is only using up to 1.8 Mbps on their mobile device but my paltry 132 kbps is pathetic. If BJ can get between 500-800 kbps, so should my V3xx.
My phone is acting quite strangely. When I first received my V3xx it would randomly turn off and back on. After a week or so, this stopped. Whenever I remove the phone from the charger, it still says it is charging. Not only this, but the battery meter in the top right doesn't show and the red light on the outside stays lit. Sometimes when I go to use a game it says "cannot because connected to computer." When the battery doesn't show up, it will turn itself off and back on every other minute. I usaully have to replug and unplug and repeat the process until the battery bars show up. What is the problem with my phone and what do I do to fix it?
Being waiting for the Nokia N75, but now looking at the V3xx. Have been reading the mostly positive reviews on the V3xx review page, except the latest from hotcoco who expresses concern on call quality and dropped calls. Not sure if this is a location/connection concern or Vexx issue?? Any one else experienced the same "terrible call quality" that hotcoco has shared? Additional opinions on the V3xx as other folks are looking at the V3xx since the N75 may be delayed or canceled with ATT/Cingular?! Thanks!!
I'm waiting for the online a t & t deals to get 4 of these phones for free. The Samsung d807 is being offered for no additional charge, but the v3xx trumps it. With the Razr2 coming out, how soon will prices come down on the v3xx?
I can only submit one review for this phone (which originally was pretty good!). I've had this phone for over a month now and here's an update of things I can do with it.
The phone is still great AND versatile. I don't need a smartphone (Not yet anyway)! Read on....
On my RAZR v3xx I can:
-Read ebooks using MobileLibrary. -Sync my calendar with my Google calendar using Goosync. My phone has replaced my "hard copy" planner. -Watch TV Shows and clips from the internet. I use Cucusoft's products for a FLAWLESS conversion. -Gmail...nuff said. -Yahoo Go works great on this phone! -Listen to podcasts. -Free games from getjar.com.
This phone can handle most of the tasks I would be using if I owned a smartphone. The only drawback i... (continues)
I'm hoping someone can offer some advice and/or help. I purchased the bundle of Motorola Phone Tools software and the data cable about a year and a half ago. I have since had to get a new computer due to a dubious roommate situation and I no longer can find the CD to reinstall the phone tools, only the cable.
I'm not trying to pirate the software, I was hoping that someone would be able to point me in the direction of a good alternative to the Motorola Phone tools. I always had problems with getting the Motorola software to work properly anyway.
I am just looking to edit contacts on my phone and manage pics and ring tones. Nothing really complicated. Any information you guys could provide would be really helpful.
