Hi! I have Samsung sync purchased two weeks ago. LOVE the phone except calls keep being dropped. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this a common thing with all syncs or should I return for another one? thanks

Has anyone found a way to stream internet radio to the sync without using MobiRadio? Also, can I use the wired headset for functions not available to my bluetooth stereo headset?

Does anyone know of a good program I can use to convert MP3's to MMF files so that I can use my MP3 files for text message tones?

For $23, I thought some of you might be interested. I am in no way affiliated with the seller or Amazon.

i switched to the a-707 and and my mp3 ringtones that worked on my other mp3 capable phone dont work on it. Samsung.com said they need to ne 600kb or less. they are all under 500kb. 1 out of 50 worked and they all meet the requirements. Am I doing something wrong?

I tried something the other day and it didn't end up working like I was wanting. I'm hoping there is a better way to do this.
I want to be able to put a text file on to my phone, and read it from the phone fairly easily. I tried this and while the file copied and opened ok, the application (Picsel Viewer) doesn't seem to be aimed at reading text. I could see my file, and with way too many key presses I could zoom in close enough to read some of it, but the text didn't wrap for the small screen, so I had to scroll left and right, and it was so slow and awkward I gave up after reading the first line.
Is there a better text file reading/viewing application either on the phone or available to put on it?

I really want to store photos to my MicroSD card after I take a picture. Then I can put them on my PC. Is is possible to do this ?

I set up the Yahoo email client and it wants to tell me every time I get an email. Besides un-caching my password, can I turn this notification off? If so, how?
Also, is there a POP client available for this phone so I don't have to use Yahoo (or one of the other handful of services offered)?

I haven't seen a figure or a definitive yes or no on SDHD compatibility. Does anyone here know? I have a 2 GB card that is working well at the moment, but have been tempted by some good deals on 4 GB SDHD cards. Anyone know if they will work?

I'm a new owner of the sync and so far it seems to meet my needs pretty well. I just got my headphone adapter (OEM with microphone) and a 2 GB card so I'm looking forward to using this as my music player when I'm cycling and running.
I copied some music on to the card (in the Music folder) and the application I used, Media Monkey also put playlists for each album into the Playlists folder.
My first problem is that these playlists are not recognized by the phone. When in the music player if I select Playlists, the list comes up blank. So what do I need to do to make .m3u (or any format really) playlist import into the phone's player?

I made my ringtones with audacity and it says they are too large to be ringtones. how do i resize them?

I have the A707, and for everything it can do, I have found that there are ten things it WONT do.
-How do I take a picture from my phone to my computer (via USB)?
- No matter what, I cant turn a MP3 clip(as short as 9 secs) into a ring tone. How do I turn it into a file it will read?
-How am I supposed to convert a MP3 to a mmf? Why should I even have too? This phone seems like it cant do anything unless you pay for it first.

I found a cool site just for the Samsung Sync and there is an unlock code for free sinkintosync.com Hope this helps everyone trying to unlock. There's also instructions for doing just about everything you can think of with your Sync including putting games on it without having to use your phones wap.

got one of those cds off e-bay for wallpapers and ringtones. The wallpapers are blury when i try to use them once in my phone, like they arent right size. suggestions??

when i try to download wallpaper from internet to use on my phone, once it gets into the phone, it wont show the picture. Just says "unsupported file type" Suggestions?

I'm going to france for the first time. My wife and I currently have iphones, but I don't beleive they will work till the end of November. We do have a SYNC, will that work there? Do I have to unlock it?
