Sync'ing MS Outlook Calendar, Contacts, Notes with N 5300

How good/easy is 5300 for doing this. Is this quickly done via USB or BlueTooth or are there alot of steps involved. Is Calender and Contacts easy to use in this manner.. or should I consider a better phone if I really want to syn calendar and contacts.
Thanks for any replies Don Hamp 😁

Connecting Phone to Sound System

I have a Nokia 5300 that I want to use / plugin to my external surround sound system.

I would like to know what is required to use the audio / headphone jack and plug this into external devices.

Are there any special cables or cords required, and does the phone have this capability.

i tried using a standard audio jack and didnt get any sound!

Nokia 5300 Operating System

I would like to know what the operating system is for the Nokia 5300. I have the Nokia 6126 right now and it runs S40V3, which is the version where you can assign individual ringtones to contacts. Would I be able to do that on the Nokia 5300?

Belt Clip?

Anyone know what the deal is to get a belt clip for this little beauty? I mean, before the screen gets totally scratched up by keys and coins!
The sales dude at the local T-Mobile shop told me it was so new on the market that they (Nokia?) hadn't brought one out yet. I say that given it's not a flip-phone a belt clip should be included in the phone package.
If I'd known this at the time, I may well have opted for a different phone - that's plain bad planning/marketing by Nokia and the carriers. 👿

Where can I buy the Nokia 5300?

Hello. I currently own a Nokia 6126 that is malfunctioning and I would like to know where I can buy an unlocked Nokia 5300. It has to have the 850 band, because I live in the U.S. I know that I can buy one at T-Mobile, but those phones are locked. Any advice would be helpful.

Changing Memory Card

I've upgraded my memory card to the 1GB, but have a small problem.

I am trying to copy over everything from the original card to the new one, but it won't let me copy the games, or collections as they are protected.

Is there a way to do this?

Headsets....

I need a good stereo headset that will work with the Nokia 5300. I don't care if it is bluetooth or corded!

N95 Bands

I would just like to get clarification, if I could.

In this preview, you said that the N95 is Quad-Band GSM. I assume this is correct since I'm guessing you were there and asked that specific question. However, on the official N-Series site (www.nokia.com/nseries/), the tech specs say that it is tri-band GSM (EDGE/GSM 900/1800/1900 + WCDMA 2100 MHz networks).

So, to the best of anyone's knowledge, which is it?

3G?? HSDPA??

Can someone explain to me how this phone [Nokia N95] has HSDPA but is not 3G? I don't understand the qualifications for either, because the glossary makes it seem as if it should be 3G because HSDPA is an upgrade of UMTS or WCDMA...

Thanks...

Nokia 5300 vs. Samsung T629

I've had my Samsung T629 for about two months and I've been pretty happy with it, but I cracked my screen and now I need a new phone. So I was wondering if I should get another T629 or get the Nokia 5300. It seems like it is a really nice phone. So if you have any information about the two phones, please post. Thank You! 🙂

Which has a better MP3 player? Better Signal? Better Battery Life? Is the 5300 worth the extra 50 dollars?
