Motorola RAZR maxx Ve

I have been anticipating the relase of this phone just like everyone else. I went to the store the day it came out and left with the sammy u740. I am still undecided but there were alot of concerns. I have tested a couple maxx's and the ones I made calls on I could hear myself talking in the head piece is this normal? Also I noticed the lag in the txting this really bothered me as I txt alot. The camera was good but I wasnt working it right. Can anyone give me some more feedback on this phone. I need to decide the sammy is good but the camera is subpar at best.

can you email music to your phone and set them as ringtones or is this feature blocked?

i was wondering if its plastic or metal im sick of all the confusion and if it is metal is it a fingerprint magnet? If it is thats a dealbreaker

Is the speakerphone any good. As we can remeber in he v710, the speakerphone call quality was sometwhat lacking in that at times sounded garbled to the person on the other end. With that being said, is it a loud speaker, and can it be used with the phone closed.
Also, is the vibrate any good, as compared to the vibrate on the LG phones.

I just bought this phone today about 2 hrs ago
so far haven't used it enough to report on anything else

I installed my 2gb transflash card in to the memory card slot but the phone doesn't recognize it

Is it the phone can't take a card so big or am I doing something wrong

I understand that this phone is a razr but honestly how thin is it normal razr size?

Did you guys read that review? It sounds as though someone has already received a defective unit.

Has anyone noticed that when the phone is on vibrate and you scroll to the end of any menu it vibrates to let you know you've hit the end? Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and if so can it be changed? It's kind of annoying.

Also has anyone noticed that you cannot set a speeddial number over 99? My old razor you could send a speed dial to any number, such as 412.

Does anyone know if this phone can vibe and ring at the same time, or even vibe and then ring? Or does it have to be only one or the other like the v3m, assuming you don't want to hack it or do a seem edit. Any info is appreciated!!!

does this phone like most other verizon moto phones lag? almost every new vzw moto phone ive played with had a good 5 second delay between when you hit the menu button and it actually comes up

do the sides of the phone light up like the gsm version? judging from the picture and verizons reputation for butchering phones im not holding my breath. anybody have any feedback?

I am curious to see how the battery life is on the MAXX compared to the original razrs which were horrible. I can't decide whether to get a MAXX or not. After all this time waiting for it to come out, I can't believe I'm not sure now. The lg8600 is just as nice looking and less $$.

I heard a rumor from another website that this phone has "video calling" capability at 15 frames per second. Would that be true, or has verizon handicapped that feature too like bluetooth?

Anyone know if I can run Opera and Gmail on this phone with Verizon?
