Samsung Stratosphere Gets Sequel
Samsung and Verizon today announced the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II. Like the original, the new model is notable for its slide-out QWERTY keyboard, combined with Android OS and 4G LTE data. Compared to its predecessor, the new model has a faster processor and adds NFC. It also comes with Android version 4.0. Like most of its new Android phones, Samsung has added "Galaxy" to the name. The Galaxy Stratosphere II will be available "in the coming weeks" for $180 with two-year contract, or $130 after $50 mail-in rebate.
