BB 8310 Micro sd card space

by M_Demon_Hunter    Jan 3, 2009, 6:10 PM

This is a question I saw on here eairler, but I could not find it again.

Someone posted stating that the BB could hold up to a 32G card. Someone else said that they bought a 8G card, and then used the BB to format it, and it came up as a 4G card. If it is like mine, it actually gives you 3.6G of space. I had bought an 8G card, loaded it using an adapter (because putting 3+ Gigs of music through the phone takes FOREVER!) on my computer. After I was done I removed the card from the computer and put it into my BB. When my BB got done booting up, it said that there was corrupted data on it. If I only put 3.7 or 3.8 G's of "stuff" on the 8G card, the BB would read it.

Someone at an eletronics store (big nation-wide chain) had told me that they thought the BB's could only hold a 4G card. I have found that to be true so far.

If someone has an answer to this problem, I would be thankful.
