i would recommend the Curve. in my opinion it has a better keyboard and is easier to type on. the only thing the 8800 has over it is the GPS and it looks more...blackberryish.....other than GPS, the Camera and the curve shipping with spellcheck the features are the same.

Have the Curve and love it....very easy to use and graphics are great. Over 250 songs on the sd card and the sound quality is good over the speaker. Texting is fast and lot of options exist to make using this phone friendly for everyone. Do it--you'll like it.

I've got a ? about the Curve.

I like to use an earpiece while talking on my phone @ work, and I like to keep my phone in my back pocket. But the fact is the Curve isn't a flip phone, and therefore the keypad is exposed, what I'm getting @ here is I'm afraid that if I get the Curve and put it in my back pocket while using the earpiece, that maybe it'll hit up against my pocket, and hang up on the coversation,...is there any way @ all to lock the keypad while in a phone call?

Also, does it have multiple alarms? My current phone can have up to 5 alarms, I like that.
