is there anyway possbile to use the 8700 on tmobile networks, i like the 8700 but i hate cingulars data plans....anyhelp please?

Get Cingular to give up the subsidiary lock... otherwise... no.

So... probably the answer is no.

I have a Cingular BB 8700c that I bought from Cingular and had unlocked for use on T-Mobile.

The unlock cost meabout $45 from www.gsmphonesource.com

The phone works just fine on the network.

Yeah, the 8700 will work just fine with tmobile. They even have their own 8700 model if you havent bought yours yet.

I just got my 8700g from T-Mobile as a replacement to the 7105t that I previously had. Let me tell you, the 7105t was a mistake for me to get (kept crashing consistently). And the 8700g? I've got nothing but praises for it. The internet is superfast (T-Mobile and Cingular both use EDGE on this phone. I did a speed test between my 8700g and a laptop connected to a Corp LAN. I bought up the http://www.aa.com website on both....need I say which one was faster to upload it? :-)).

About the only difference between the 8700g and 8700c is the outer look (The -...
