The MDA has a couple software updates that will make your aim and text run faster and smoother. Also the MDA is a Pocket PC first with Phone capabilities built in so that’s why it runs slow, as apposed to the sidekick which is always signed into the danger network and your online actually all the time...

Couple things you have to remember with the Sidekick 3. 1. It’s been a rumor ever since the sidekick 2 came out. People figured since there's a sk2 there must be a sk3 soon. Multiple pictures online have depicted what’s suppose to be a SK3, but it’s nice to finally see something real. So basically, NOT everything you hear about the SK3 is true. There is one yes but a lot of the stuff is still in the testing stages. I know for a fact T-Mobile has been on short supplies with the SK2 which leads me to believe an SK3should launch sooner than later. 2. T-Mobile reps don’t always know everything and it’s done that way on purpose. You figure there are multiple types of t-mobile retailers from the Direct stores to the in directs even Wal-Mart sells t-mobile so u can’t expect everyone go thru the same exact training. In an Ideal world yes, but reality some in-direct stores don’t know there head from their &^$. A lot of the Stuff pertaining to the launch of new products is also kept a secret because t-mobile wants to sell out of the sidekicks 2 before people hear of the sk3 and say, "well I'll just wait." Companies want to get the most of what they’ve already got, that and you never know when the product really launches anyway. T-mobile DOESNT make IT - DANGER does so a definite launch date is never absolute. So just stay touch to sites like hiptop.com and danger.com. The consumer usually hears about the launches before stores do anyways.

All said - I can’t wait to own one either! =-) I had the original SK2, the MDA and Now I Sport the Mr. Cartoon.
