file transfer software?
does anyone know if there is any software out there, sort of like motorola mobile phone tools, to transfer stuff to and from your computer with a data cable? for the hiptop2?

yea it should of came with the phone a disc and cable. call danger or sharp. you the dizzle should know this. its a server based pda of course there is data cable and software. thats like packaging a tro 650 without it.

I know it's a little late, but no, there is no transfer software like there Phone Tools for the Siedkick 2. Then ONLY kind of Syncing tools that can be found is Intellisync and that only syncs your Contacts, Calendar and ToDo List using the Sidekick GPRS Data connection (not USB) and you have to have Outlook 97/2000/XP, not Outlook Express, for it to work.
If you want ringtones and apps/games, you need to decome a developer and get a dev-key, but in order to get a dev-key, you need to know enough Java (not JavaScript) to make a runnable program on the Sidekick/Hiptop using Danger's Hiptop SDK which can be found here:
