Boss: Commander Mars and Jupiter
-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------
Mars Team:
Bronzor lv 41 (Steel/Psychic)
Golbat lv 42 (Poison/Flying)
Purugly lv 45 (Normal)
-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------
Jupiters Team:
Bronzor lv 41 (Steel/Psychic)
Golbat lv 41 (Poison/Flying)
Skuntank lv 46 (Poison/Dark)
-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------
Info: This, my friends, may be one of the hardest battles in the game.
Not only is this one of the few times you will have to face a full
team of 6 Pokemon, but their levels are pretty damn high.

In terms of your rivals team at this point, he will always lead
with a Munchlax. The rest of his team is fairly evolved:his starter
will be at the highest evolved form and at lv 43. If he had a
Floatzel, it will have evolved into a Buizel. His Starvaria will
now be a Staraptor. Otherwise, the rest of his team will be the
same and at around lv 40-43

The biggest problem with this battle is that you will pretty much
be fighting doubles most of the time. They lead off with Bronzor
(Use the same strategy you used against Bronzor earlier. Fire
works best). Golbat is one of the reasons I told you to bring
a rock, ice, or psychic Pokemon. Gravler/Golem, Sneasel, Kadabra
and Alakazam are all Pokemon that are very effective against the
two Golbats.

The biggest difference in their teams is the trademark Pokemon they
always have. Both Purugly and Skuntank soak up a bunch of damage,
so be alert. However, they share a common weakness: fighting
attacks. Machamp, Lucario, Infernape, and any Pokemon with a
powerful fighting move works well. Otherwise, use your best
attackers on them. Also, be careful of using moves like Surf and
Earthquake, since it will damage your rival's Pokemon as well.
-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------

Paul Smith was kind enough to send in info on the double battle
with Mars and Jupiter.

"So, if you chose a chimchar, at the beginning of the game, this
alternate battle-guide will help you lots more. For this, you will
need one level 57 Infernape. Thats all. Nothing else.. Smile.. Well...
This guide assumes that you have Mach Punch, Flame Wheel and Flare
Blitz.

After your foes launch their Pokémon from their balls, send out
your Infernape, use Flame Wheel on one, and this should OHKO it.
Your rival will attack the other one, taking around half the
heath away. If Mars/Jupiter launch Golbat, use Flare Blitz on
it. It should OHKO it, you will also recieve re-coil damage, but
it's better than Golbat's confuse ray, which can do damage. in the
long run.

Whilst you were owning Golbat, chances are that the Bronzor is dead
and down for the count. If not, still ignore it as Purugly/Skuntank
are way more of a threat. They both will take damage to Flame Wheel
easily, so use it.

If Bronzor still isn't dead, I suggest you launch your next attack
on your rival's pokémon. (Please don't do it! It was a joke!).
Prioritize the death of Golbat. He is the pokémon you should be
wary of."
\-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------/

After the battle, your Rival will restore your Pokemon's HP and PP. Save,
and fight your next battle: Cyrus.

/-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------\
Boss: Cyrus
-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------
Pokemon:
Honchkrow lv 45 (Dark/Flying)
Crobat lv 46 (Poison/Flying)
Gyarados lv 45 (Water/Flying)
Weavile lv 48 (Dark/Ice)
-------------------------------------------- -----------------------------
Info: At nearly 4 or so levels higher then the last battle, Cyrus is a
beast. If you took my advice earlier and brought a Electric or
Ice Pokemon at at least lv 45, you should be fine. However, don't
be stingy on revives if one of your main attackers falls.

Honchkrow, Crobat, and Gyrados are all part flying, which means
a strong Pokemon with Thunderbolt or Thunder should be able to
wipe the floor on these three Pokemon. However, Crobat is a very
powerful Stage 3 Pokemon that can screw you up if you do not attack
it fast. Also, Gyrados has the Intimidate ability, which cuts your
attack.

Weavile is going to be the biggest pain in the ass, however. Not
only is it about 3 levels higher, but it has a extremely high
attack with a bunch of Physical attacks. If you have a Pokemon with
high defense that isn't weak against Weavile, bring it out (Also,
if you have your own Gyrados or a Pokemon with Intimidate, bring
it out to drop its attack). Fighters work best against Weavile, as
well as Infernape.

Recommended Pokemon include: Luxray with electric attacks such as
Thunderbolt and Thunder at about lv 45 or so, Infernape at lv 45
or so with a strong Fighting attack. Any sort of fighting and
electric types work best.
