Make sure you subscribe to the unlimited data plan for $40 per month. The way it is configured (not to disconnect) is the way all of them are setup at my company. However with the unlimited data plan, there are no additional costs ... ever.
We did have a problem with a couple of them when we first got them were Verizon had them provisioned incorrectly in their system which charged us for "usage". They should be provisioned for Blackberry/Treo unlimited.
