downloading thumbnails to 7300, how, use usb cable?
I'm new to the forum and new to the sanyo 7300. I see where we can pay $1.00 for a screensaver download. How can I download a photo to match up with a caller id number? Nothing in the book tells how. They only tell how to download a screensaver. I have a Futuredial usb cable where I can use the phone as a modem. How can I use this cable to download photos? There has to be a way.

Are you wanting to download your own pics into phone or just random pics? You can use Futuredial software and put on your computer if you want to put your pics/make own ringers/ from your pc to phone. Otherwise, go to free sites. 3gupload.com, 3gforfree.com. Use at your own risk...I've seen free downloads corrupt phones and this can void you warranty. Hence, why you see "Not trusted content, Sprint can't guarantee. Continue?" when you download from free sites.

I would like to take more advantage of the phone, I don't need mail or web services and don't want to pay extra for them. I would like to download photos to the phone for the caller ID, mainly. Ringtones, not a big deal. It would be good if I could save my phone book. I have determined that for the 7300, the FutureDial data cable for 4900, 5300, 8100 works, as I've used the phone as a modem. FutureDial says the s/w has not been tested on this phone yet. I've experimented with some of their s/w, telling it was another model, says it is downloading, but the phone doesn't show that anything came down.
I am just finding out about the sites for downloading. I didn't know there were free ones though.
