So I have researched my phone choice for years!!!! Anyway, the husband wanted a gps capable phone with sprint and after researching this for weeks ultimately decided he liked the katana dlx. So after spending all morning on the phone with sprint, he tells me he upgraded our phones and he ordered a katana for himself. I point out they have 2 differnet katana's out now. Of course he did not know this and got the II. Now he is too lazy to deal with sprint any longer. Anyway, is it stupid to settle for the II, or is it not a big deal. Any advice appreciated?

The Sanyo Katana II is a level entry camera phone, that is non EvDO, and the DLX is a higher end phone with a better 1.3 mp camera and video, mp3, expandable memory, advanced Bluetooth, and EvDO enabled. EvDO allows you to access the web browser at faster speeds. This would be a plus for GPS apps. If GPS apps are your deciding factor, go with the DLX. Hopes, this helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM with any other questions.
