Running back to the door, Jack stepped on the rigged lever/wrench putting all of his weight on it to try and dislodge the piece of rubble. It finally pops loose but is accompanied by an unwelcome crash as the rubble above it splashes out into the hallway. Jack ,now frantically, starts throwing debris out of the way. He knows that must've caught the attention of the splicer, who promptly appears around the corner of the lobby. He had another of those masks on and was wearing a beat up baseball uniform, what is going on with these people? What are they looking for? He looked malnurished and was generally ragged looking with this crazy look in his eye like an opium addict back home.
----Slugger: What are you doing there boy?
Jack got the radio out as quick as he could and started yelling into it for help. The man started charging when a machine gun started spitting bullets over Jack's head, he dove for cover. Peering out from behind a pile of rubble he saw a spotlight tracking the splicer and some kind of small helicopter guiding it. It was a metal cube with a machine gun slung underneath it and a spotlight up above the rotors, it tore a hole in the splicer and left him gasping for air on the ground.
----Atlas: Kid get moving! You've gotta get out of this room quick now, there will be more coming and that security bot will only last so long.
Jack jumped up and started digging out what was left of the rubble pile trying to make a hole large enough to crawl through. A half dozen splicers jumped down from above, these with guns, and got into a firefight with the bot. The six deftly manuevered behind cover and popped up to take shots at the bot while it was firing at them. Jack had finally poked a hole through the rubble and slithered through into the other room. The six were starting to take a tole on the bot and as it headed for the door with smoke coming out of one side. Full speed ahead it plowed into one side of the door, destroying itself, and collapsing the doorway again, sealing the room and leaving the splicers with no easy way to follow Jack.
