Jack opened the door to the sub feeling strangely reassured by them an on the radio's words. As he stepped out he slipped on something and looking down there were picket signs scattered throughout the room with dried blood on them and phrases like "Rapture is Dead" and "Down with Ryan". Looking around further there were broken lights and rifle shells scattered throughout the station, well it's official, something is wrong and he no longer feels so reassured. The exit to the room has been caved in by debris and Jack begins removing debris from the doorway. A faint *thump* sounds from back in the bathysphere main room. Jack turns and walks out of the lobby and into the main room only to find that a different "splicer" is now sniffing around. He quickly ducks back into the lobby and radios in

----Jack: There's one of those splicer guys in here with a baseball bat.

----Radio: Oh Ryan! He must have sent some more. Alright kid, you've gotta get out of there quick, would you kindly get moving on that doorway and try to find something to defend yourself with. I'll get you some help.

Jack looked around and found a wrench, and then began frantically digging out the door. As he started throwing debris out of the way it must have caught the attention of the splicer because it appeared around the corner of the lobby. He had another of those masks on and was wearing a beat up baseball jersey, what is going on with these people? He looked malnurished and was not clean shaven and he had this crazy look in his eye like those opium addicts he had seen back home that had not had any opium for a while.


----Slugger: What are you doing there boy?

----Jack: Just trying
