6. Lifeless bodies and debris sank slowly into the Atlantic as if part of some sadistic piece of art. A wing of the now broken plane falls into the water shattering the propellor into thousands of fragments. Jagged metal pieces now whizz through the water but instead of causing more destruction the commotion brings one body to life.

The man thrashes about wildly trying to make it to the safety of fresh air as he begins to scream through his closed mouth. Out he bursts taking a few large thankful breaths. The plane has scattered burning wreckage all around him and terribly the flames are the only thing he can see that is moving. Somewhat distraught by his situation he searches for something to float on. Finding a piece of fuselage he begins to make his way away from the flames which almost encircle him. As he moves towards the now sinking tail section a large explosion blows him off his piece of safety and back into the water.

After awakening a second time under water he makes his way up again to the surface, surely this can't be good for one's health, he mused. But this time when he breaches the water he is greated by a far nicer scene. A light house is a mere 30 feet away with the lights on! After making his way to the light house he climbed the steps leading up to the door hoping to find someone to help in his search effort for the other passengers. Bursting inside the large double doors he is greeted by complete and total Absense. The absense of sound, the absense of light, just nothing. This is very disheartening and he's almost afraid to move forward but needing something to hope for he moves into the room. Suddenly some mechanical sounds spring into action and he freezes as a spotlight pops on illuminating a large bust of an intimidating looking man and an inscription that says "Rapture: No gods, nor kings, only men". This is quite a large room but still no sign of a person to be found. After searching for stairs up to the top of the light house he was unable to find anything but a locked door and a bathysphere. He goes back outside and makes one last call but all that's left is a few pieces of smoldering debris and an oil slick.

Laying down he decides to rest a moment and he is awakened by the morning sun peeking up above the water. Venturing back inside he leaves the door open and uses the brighter light to explore the room. But again only the locked door and the bathysphere. After banging on the door for the better part of a half hour he makes the decision to go into the bathysphere and see if it leads to people. After pulling the level labeled "Ignition" the door closes and he begins to undo the work he had twice undone the day before, sinking into the depths of the Atlantic.
