If You are on an America's Choice Plan, there is nothing you can do, that banner is Network based, and depending on each tower, Verizon Wireless will either be on/off. Even if you change your banner to read something else, it will still flip back and forth to your banner selection and "Verizon Wireless". The only way it can totally disappear is if the banner is not loaded into the current PRL. Dial *22890 to update your phone, depending on the PRL du joir, it may disappear.
