I spoke with a sales rep at a Verizon (indirect) dealer's shop earlier this afternoon about the E815.
He had done some checking around. He told me the E815 has been "recalled" due to a software issue. His information leads him to believe the phones could be back in stores in the next week or two.
I'm disappointed but I can wait as I have decided this is the phone I want.
