V325i Unauthorized Charger

My V325i will not accept a charge either from an outlet or car charger. I get an "Unauthorized Charger" message and the battery icon disappears. I may have spilled coffee on it. Tried everything I can think of. Any recommendations other than replacing the phone?

Dont buy Motorola phones, jsut another example of buggy software, I have seen this on 100's of Motos

Agree, but I went to a local Verizon Wireless store and they are sending me a new one, gratis. No insurance; guess they are really anxious to retain a long term customer??? Hope I am not reading to much into this.
