Well I got to try the a630 today and I must say, I LIKE IT!.

Lightweight, easy to use, lots of options, speaker phone, quad band world phone, vga camera, and flip open keypad and color screen.

The phone is a breeze to use, you can access most menu options w/o having to open the phone. Options such as ring volume, tone, caller id, speakerphone, and such. The sound quality is great and clear. The signal strength is very good. There is no external antenna but it still gets very good signal. The battery life is about 3.5-4 hrs and about a 10 day standby time. Now unlike the V400 and V600 the camera does not have the zoom feature(at least as far as I could see). let me ask u how do u place a phone call on the a630? Do u have to open the phone up to place a call or do u place a call the normal way im asking this because on some phones such as the nokia 3300 u have to place a call by holding the phone all awkward i wa swondering if u ahd to do this with this phone? Thanks any info u give me will be appreciated 😁

normally. If you look at the phone there is a green button on the left and a red button on the right. Green dials call and red disconnects it. 😉

is this a tester model or did you get it in a normal service contract from Cingular?
