Motorola Xoom coming to Best Buy on February 24th

"We're already fatigued of reporting launch dates for devices announced at this year's CES -- it seems like each one has had at least four different potential release points -- but when you get one of Best Buy's official Facebook pages blabbing about when the Moto Xoom and HTC Thunderbolt will be arriving... well, you sum up the strength to do it one more time. Contrary to earlier insider leaks pinning the Xoom to a February 17th launch, Best Buy is now promising to have the vanguard of the Honeycomb tablet revolution on February 24th. That's exactly a week later than our earlier info, so perhaps somebody somewhere decided to push things back a bit. We have no doubt, however, that Motoro...

I did get it launch day. I love it! It feels rushed, like they pushed out really fast. But I am 98% sure that with all the updates and upgrades they have made know are coming it was worth it. It is still awesome now, I just wish it had a more apps to run on it. Developers need to hurry up lol!

Even the CEO of Samsung said they rushed out their Galaxy Tab and they will need to get another out soon to match the new iPad.

I am pretty happy. I was a little disapointed at first but then as I kept on it, the possibilities with it are pretty limitless. I would recomend it to anyone wanting a tablet.

Thanks for the input but I still don't see tablets as much more than a media-viewing device. I doubt I can do the majority of my work on one of them so it discourages me from buying one (I'm frugal - everything needs a purpose). But it would be great to have for reading or watching videos before bed or out at a cafe or something. I think if I traveled more (flying specifically) it would be perfect as its hard to take out a full laptop on some of these planes, and even if you can get it out you're still elbowing the person next to you when you type Smile
