Okay, I'm an agent, and I just got notified that from here on out, any warranty work on a Nokia 6255 will result in the customer being given a check for the prorated amount of what the phone is worth. There are no parts or replacement phones left for this model.
My question is this, since this phone is defunct, will Nokia give me instructions/programming to unlock some of the restrictions USCC has required on my phone? I'm just wondering if we could make it possible for me to record my own ringtones, use mp3s as ringtones or do object push on BT? I actually don't need the mp3 ringtone thing, but I would like to be able to use my kid's voice as a ringtone for when she calls me.
