Is there a difference in transmission and reception capabilities between an 'entry level' such as the 6010 or 3120 as coompared to a 'high end' unit?
Would a tri band unit be of any benefit here in the US?
I really do not care about bells and whistles, I want a phone that works where lesser phones may get drops. I travel within the US and need a phone that works. I am a long time blue user who is being pretty much forced to go orange.

the larger the phone the bigger the antenna in most cases, I would suggest a Nokia Symbian phone

Tri-band is a must in the US, if you have Cingular, we highly work on 850 without it we would die. 3120 is a awesome phone.
