At one point in time the "i" actually had a meaning... improved. Nokia has indicated that it no longer officially means improved. As for the differences of the 6230 & 6230i, the 6230 has a VGA camera (640X480 resolution) with 8MB of internal memory. The 6230i (actually "improved") has a 1.3 megapixel camera as well as 32MB of internal memory. The screen clarity is a vast improvement as well. Though they both have 65,536 colors but the 6230i has 208X208 as opposed to the 128X128.Now to my understanding through my Nokia sources the 6230i may never be officially introduced into the U.S. market because there are no plans of having the 850mhz bandwidth on the phone.Ouch for you Cingular users! Oh yeah, did I mention the 6230i has the push-to-talk...

Wow! This is a lot of information and I love it! Thanks. I do figure that the "N" in N phones means something, though. Probably means "New Cutting Edge Advanced Faster More Expensive!"

You are correct. The "N" has no significance at all. This series is hot! The U.K. had just received them and the U.S. won't see much of the series until the end of the year. As of right now only the N90 is slated for a release and there is no confirmation on the other two (N91 & N70). Keep your ears and eyes open.

The N91 is basically for those who prioritize the music over the phone and camera, I think. I like the N90 but it is awfully expensive and was told that it is heavy and big. The N70 looks perfect, though. Do you know how much it costs? Surely less than the N90.

I got the N70 yesterday. Haven't used it yet though. I had to kill the battery and recharge it from scratch. It should be ready soon. I got it free though through a friend of mine here in Montreal. He says it is the cheapest of the 3.

I am interested! Please let me know how it works, either in this forum or email. I am wondering how much the N70, Nokia 6682, and Moto V1150/V3x all cost.

Do you know how the N70 and the 6682 compare? Clearly you believe that the N70 is better, but by what criteria?

You must be so excited! Keep me informed please on what it does well, what it cannot do, whatit does poorly, etc.
