nokia screen destroyed by sun?

Hi, I have a nokia 6610 - one day it was sitting on my bed for two minutes, in the light from a window - I picked it up and saw that the screen was almost completely destroyed - a very large starburst of green, purple, red, blue, etc now covers almost the entire screen - I'm with tmobile and they say I will have to pay since this won't be covered by the warranty, but I say I did not damage it - has anyone ever seen this happen with this particular model, any nokia, or any other phone? I'm hoping to find evidence of other cases to show Tmobile.

Thanks.

If you have insurance just drop it in a toilet.

If you have Asurion, they'll cover it being left in the sun.

Hello ChickenBox. Yes, it is 205% possbile that the good ole sun can damage your phones screen and unfortinetly it is not covered buy insurance and warranty. You will have to buy a new phone.
