LG VX6000 Headset Microphone Sensitivity
I love this phone except for one thing. When I use a hands-free headset, the microphone sensitivity is TERRIBLE. The other party hears maybe 20%-35% of the normal volume of my voice if I'm speaking into the phone directly. I've tried 3 different headsets, one of which works perfectly with my old Audiovox 9155-GPX. Maybe the unit I have is just defective? Or is this a known problem with the VX6000?
I called LG tech support and the guy said he has never heard of that problem with this phone. I'm within the 14 day return policy at Circuit City (and I work there) and my manager has the same phone, so I will try my headset on his unit. Hopefully mine is just defective, it would be an easy solution to the problem. Otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do. The only way to get good outgoing sound with the headset is to put the microphone practically in my mouth
