Just curious to what some of you think of the LG 4400 b phones. getting ready to buy a couple of phones and my wife likes that particular phone. I have only used one cell phone in my entire life and it was a nokia 6160... yes, i've been using it a long time. vzw sales rep seemed real high on the 4400b, in fact it was the phone that was on his belt at the time we talked. not interested in text messaging, cameras or web surfing,.... just want a very reliable phone that will get good reception. again, not familiar at all with lg and was hoping some of you could shed some light. thanks in advance for any help you might lend.

I'm going to be honest here.

It really depends on what you want in a phone. The lg-vx4400 is a tri-mode phone. It will get signal anywhere in the VZW network AND will pick up analog (AMPS) in emergency/very rural areas. I love the keypad and the screen. The only gripe I have is the standby time is short. I tend to charge my phone every 2 days. Not a big issue since I have a car charger now.

I am an authorized retailer for VZW. Out of all the phones, the LG-vx6000, the lg-vx4500, the motorola V60s, the kyocera slider, the motorola t730, the LG-vx4600, etc... I selected the LG-VX4400 (b stands for blue faceplate btw) for my own personal use.

Sides.. If you don't like the phone you have 15 days to return/exchange the sucker. 🤣

I've had several phones over the years and the 4400 has been by far the best (I've had it for over a year). Clarity is very good, volume is great, even in noisy places (some folks have complained it's too loud), the keys are excellent (a rubbery feel to them, not too small like the Samsung A530), phone book is great, menu system very intuitive, etc. Get an extended battery if you make lots of calls - it still fits in the supplied holster. The only thing it's lacking is a speakerphone (4500 for that).
