Can anyone explain in laymans terms, first of all, IF, my env9900 is capable to recieve converted video and pic files from my pc? 😕 Then IF possible, what type of conversion is necessary?

I bought a data cable, which included the vcast software, (I was told by cust. service at a vz store, this would do the job) but that's not the software I want.
I want to be able to convert small files from my pc and send them to my phone, and other phones. Any clear advice?

I use a microSD card to load videos.

I purchased AVS video converter to convert my videos.

You need to convert the files to 3Gpp, 3Gp or 3G2. Different converter software may have the file type listed differently.

You have to format the card in the phone before you use it. It should create a folder titled "video" or something similar.

Then just drag and drop the files to the card after they have been formatted.

Thanks for the help with my env9900 and uploading files to it.
I have only one more question...
Exactly what's the gizmo used to read the microSD card while on the puter?
I too use AVS, what a great software! Also have spare microSD cards.
I just need to card reader that plugs into the puter, and want an informative person to direct me to it, not another temporary sales person.
Thanks again

Sorry I didn't get back to you faster. Verizon sells, or used to sell, a reader but it is normally more expensive than the ones at Wal-Mart. I personally have a reader that is built-in to my PC. The ones that I prefer are USB adaptors that accept microSD through standard SD cards. They are normally near the digital cameras. If you have a photo lab at your local Wal-Mart, ask one of the photo lab techs first. My experience has been that most of the Wal-Mart employees in electronics have no idea what I'm talking about when I ask where something is.
If you need more info. on a specific brand etc. I can stop by my local store and look.

Thanks for your help
I'll be checking around at WalMart and, with a informed Verizon Manager we know personally
I'll drop a reply once I have it all together.
Again, thank you.🙂
