Bluetooth-LG8300 Please Help!

I recently purchased a bluetooth headset (Motorola 505) for my LG 8300 and was told that I could listen to the music that I have downloaded to the MP3 player through the bluetooth, however, I am unable to do so. I went back to Verizon where I was told that it was definitely possible with these two products they just didn’t (couldn't/wouldn't) know how to “unlock” the phone/bluetooth to make it work. I was also told that many of their products have features that the "Average Joe" is not able to access unless they are "unlocked" but because they work for Verizon they are not able to give me that info. One of the guys told to just buy the new headset (jabra) that has the opption to listen to music but I don't feel that I should have to if th...

I am not sure about the bluetooth feature but NO you cannot use your MP3 songs as ringtones! If Verizon let you do that they would never sell any ringtones...that would be sweet though. I hope I helped you out atleast a little bit.

Addressing the issue of MP3s as ringtones: Find a data cable and driver software.
1. Verizon's Music kit for the VX-8300 has both(expensive)
2. You can go on ebay (I found one for about $5 or less)

Then download Bitpim (it's free) 😁 -just search for it via Google or Yahoo

You can load MP3s, photos for wallpaper, and edit your phonebook.
