Is there a way to change the AT&T Wireless text on the screen?
A friend of mine just bought this phone and wants to know if there is way to change the text that shows up on the screen of the phone. She wants to change it from "AT&T Wireless" to her own personal greeting.
Can that be done? And if so, how?

Well you put "this" phone. I didn't see a phone model on this post. Most phones you can go into the menu options and pick display, then go into the display options and change the banner. The greeting is what you see when you turn on the phone, otherwise called "welcome note" or "welcome greeting" which can be changed on most phones also. The banner is the one that is on the screen after the phone has been turned on and reached the main screen.

Sorry, I forgot to say it is the LG 4020. My friend is interested in changing the banner to read something other than 'AT&T Wireless'

No you can't change the banner on that model. It will say At&t Wireless all the time.
