It is my understanding that the cell phone manufacturer LG actually owns a CDMA network in a foregin country Is this true? If so Any idea where I can info. regarding this? I have searched the www.lgmobilephones.com and am unable to find any info. regarding this. I realize this is not the proper forum for this question but I really did not want it going unnoticed in the Lg forum.
Thanks guys for all the wonderful work you do on this website and for your help regarding this question!

Yes.

LG is a very large international company with many very different business units. LG Electronics is just one arm of LG, although they are by far the largest, most visible, and most international business unit.

Like Samsung, LG is headquartered in South Korea, where they have many domestic business units doing things they don't do in other countries. While LG Electronics makes phones (among many other things,) LG TeleCom is another arm of the company, which offers CDMA service in South Korea:
