Looks like the NYTimes has an early picture of the LG vx-9000. Article states a release date of Oct.1 2006. Any one have more info.?

The VX9000 is a discontinued model from YEARS ago.. why would they bring out a new phone with the same model number?

i thinkn they screwed up the model number, I think it is supposed to be the lg vx8400.
