MP3 as a ringtone? LC VX8100
I need a definitive answer. Can you use an MP3 as a ringer or not? (I don't want to use BitPim)

Is there no other short cuts? How do I use Blue Tooth w/ BitPim? (Do I need to have software ro what?)

I tried, sent a MP3 ringtone that I made but I cant seem to use it as a ringtone. With my older LG VX7700 I have tons of ringtones that I made myself. With this one its not on the ringtone list. It saves it as a sound but thats it, dont know where it is or ATH can you do with it. Really dissapointing, I like to have my own ringtones that no one else has. I guess I will look into something else next time I buy a phone, thank God this was my brother in-laws phone.
BTW, VX 5200 is the same thing, I assume all new LG phones are like this. They want you to buy the ringtones which suck so bad I cant even listen to them. I hope someone can figure out something with this damn thing.
